Time has strangely been passing by really quickly despite my decision to turn to a hermit lifestyle. I reckon it's been doing me good in a way that I've managed to instill some sort of discipline into my life by setting beneficial routines for myself. The shit thing is none of these routines are academically related so basically my progress for this semester is in dumps. I feel too jaded to do anything to salvage it.

Anyway, other than the times when I have to rush out work for group projects/reports/presentations (the only work I've been doing), I basically have a lot of time for myself so I decided to address my obsession with the idea of cooking.

Been wanting to try to do up a soba dish for a while now and.. I finally did it! This is half of what I've sorted out before prep time. Went for a run after I marinated the seafood in my own concoction of honey miso lime and left them to set in the fridge haha. Came back after to cook them.


End product! Soba salad with honey miso lime dressing (tossed with broccoli, shiitake mushrooms & tofu), with grilled prawns & scallops on the side. Very grateful to jesse who came over after training to try this :')
